The vehicle details you enter or that are returned by a UK registration lookup, the symptoms you describe, any OBD codes, and any photos, video or audio you choose to upload.

If you create an account, your email address and the vehicles and diagnoses you save to My Garage.

Your vehicle details, symptoms and any evidence you attach are used to produce the diagnosis you asked for, and are sent to our AI provider for that purpose.

Saved vehicles and diagnoses are stored against your account so you can come back to them. Only you can see them.

Photos and video are stored privately and are linked to your own account path. They are not public and are not shared with other users.

For UK registrations, MOT test history is retrieved from the DVSA MOT History service and used as supporting background for the diagnosis.

We record anonymous product events, such as a diagnosis being started or completed, so we can see where the process is confusing. These events never include your symptom text, vehicle registration, uploaded media or diagnosis content.

You can use AutoFix AI without an account. You can delete vehicles and saved diagnoses from My Garage, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data.
